Google Sheets

What you need

  • Google Spreadsheet URL. The full URL of the sheet that should receive KoraBridge rows.
  • Service account credentials. A Google service account email and private key with editor access to the spreadsheet.

Where to find it

  • Google Cloud Console. Create or open the service account and copy the email and private key from its JSON key file.
  • Google Sheets. Open the destination spreadsheet in your browser and copy its URL.

Service account email

The client_email value in the service account JSON key file. It ends in .iam.gserviceaccount.com. Share the spreadsheet with this address as an editor.

Private key

The private_key value in the same JSON file. Copy the whole block from -----BEGIN PRIVATE KEY----- to -----END PRIVATE KEY-----. KoraBridge stores it encrypted.

Spreadsheet URL

Open the spreadsheet in your browser and copy the full address from the address bar. It looks like https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/<id>/edit.

Common mistakes

  • Forgetting to share the spreadsheet with the service account email.
  • Pasting only part of the private key instead of the full key value.
