Second Spectrum
Second Spectrum signs in once for your whole organization with machine-to-machine OAuth2 client credentials. No athlete invitations are needed.
Connect Second Spectrum
- Get a client ID, client secret and audience for your Second Spectrum or Genius Sports integration.
- Add the connection with those three values. The token URL and API base URL are advanced fields and already have the right defaults.
- Optionally scope the seasons to load.
- Run Test connection. It signs in and discovers competitions.

Entitlements
Metadata always loads. The physical and tracking streams depend on your plan with Second Spectrum. If your plan does not include one, the stream shows a warning instead of data. Ask Second Spectrum to enable it before you turn the stream on.
Tracking produced is high volume, so runs that include it take longer and are given a larger time allowance.
Waiting after kickoff
A match's feeds are fetched only after the stability window has passed since kickoff, so you never load a half-finished match. The default is 3 hours.
Fields
Client ID
The machine-to-machine client ID for your integration.
Client secret
The machine-to-machine client secret. It is stored encrypted.
Audience
The OAuth2 audience identifier required by your tenant's auth setup.
Token URL
Advanced. Change it only if Second Spectrum guidance differs from the default.
API base URL
Advanced. Change it only if Second Spectrum guidance differs from the default.
Season scope
The seasons to load, for example 2024, 2025. Leave it blank to load all discovered seasons.
Competition ID
Advanced. Scope the sync to one competition. Use it together with Season, and only with Season.
Season
Advanced. The four-digit start year for the single-competition scope above.
Stability window
Hours to wait after kickoff before fetching a match's feeds. The default is 3.
