Polar
Polar signs in per athlete. Each athlete approves access to their own data, and KoraBridge stores their tokens encrypted.
Connect Polar
- Open the Athletes page and invite the athlete, choosing Polar as the connector.
- Send the consent link to the athlete. They approve access on Polar.
- The consent status changes from pending to approved. Add the connection and use it in a pipeline.
You can revoke an athlete's consent at any time from the Athletes page.
What it syncs
| Stream | Contents |
|---|---|
| Training data | Training and exercise sessions |
| Daily activity | Daily activity summaries |
| Sleep | Sleep sessions |
All streams are on by default.
A fixed recent window
Polar returns a fixed recent window on every run: exercises from the last 30 days, and sleep and activity from the last 28 days. Run the pipeline on a schedule shorter than that window so nothing falls out of reach. Rows are updated in place, so repeated runs do not create duplicates.
Fields
Access token
The OAuth2 bearer token from the consent flow. The consent flow fills it in for you. Paste one by hand only for testing.
Polar user ID
Optional. The athlete's Polar user ID. The data endpoints do not need it.
Start date
Not used yet, because of the fixed window described above.
